Shuksan MS

 

The Shuksan Prevention Squad is currently planning for the upcoming school year. They hope to expand their social norming campign, participate in the Shuksan Family Night, and promote healthy lifestyle choices to their peers through lunchtime activities.

G3 is busy making plans for the new school year. Among the many activities they have planned are: movie nights, school assemblies, lunchtime activities designed to educate their peers about the dangers of drug-use, social norming campaigns, and suicide prevention/mental health education.

Ferndale MS

 

The Natural High Clubs at Horizon and Vista started out the school year with a activity-filled Red Ribbon Week. From decorating classroom doors, to hanging social norming posters in thier school, to encouraging their peers to pledge to be drug free, to inviting Jason Quick and Michael Corsini to their school to talk about the consequences of making bad decisions, the clubs are having a positive impact on their schools.

Lummi Leadership Team

 

The Lummi Leadership Team recently used some of what they learned at the Youth Matter Leadership Retreat during a Veteran's Day program at their school. They're a newly formed team of 6th graders with a lot of energy and ideas about how they can positively impact their school and community.
